The Amtrak wreck investigation took a step backward when it was proven that the engineer was NOT using His cell phone for texting or talking at the time of the accident. It was believed that the engineer was distracted and the reason why He was operating the train at twice the speed limit when it derailed, killing eight People and injuring near 200 more. It was already determined that the engineer did not have access to the train’s wifi signal. Those factors have investigators wondering what else could have made this engineer act so carelessly.

All this could have been avoided if the train was operated by computers instead of stupid humans.
