“Right front went down” and Kenseth’s number 20 Dollar General Toyota turned right into Joey Logano’s race leading number 22 Pennzoil Ford. The race ended for both teams at Martinsville.
It was a very unfortunate situation and some would even say too coincidental that the 20 car that got taken out by the 22 car a couple races prior was the one to take out the 22 car today. A darn right shame, as the crowd stood on it’s feet and cheered. The cheering from the crowd sounded like Dale Junior just won the race.
NASCAR handed down the most severe penalty in it’s history to Matt Kenseth.
