With FSU having a very good shot at repeating as National Champions, Jeremy Pruitt is leaving to be Defensive Coordinator at the University of Georgia. Obviously money was a major if not the only factor in the decision. Florida State stole Pruitt from Alabama the year before so FSU cannot be too mad a Georgia but this one is a little different. FSU gave Pruitt a Coordinator job, He was only a position coach at Alabama. It is always insulting for a Coach to leave for another team unless it is for a higher position, in this case it is the exact same position. The head coach at Georgia, Mark Richt is also an ex FSU coach.
