If You read this article You will wonder how this guy got a job. But if You know anything about sports writing, the job is to write something for People to get angry about. If Your readers don’t get angry, they will not be engaged and they will not come back to read again and again. If they can find a good spot to come back to they will. Over and over People will revisit a writer that said something this dumb, just to tell Him how dumb he is. But the secret is this: The boss says, get more readership or ship out! This is his attempt to keep getting paid.
