Oh My Gay Sam! Drafted in the 7th round of the 2014 NFL Draft

Michael Sam was picked 249th overall in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the St Louis Rams on May 10, 2014. This was major news because as You can see in the pictures here, Sam is an openly gay man. He is the first openly gay Man to be drafted in the NFL. Is He the only gay man in the NFL? Absolutely Not!

ESPN did not offer any warning when They showed Michael Sam kiss His boyfriend dead square on the lips. Michael Sam is not the first gay man to enter the NFL even though He is the first OPENLY Gay man to do so. But He is the first man to be drafted in the NFL that gave an on the lips kiss to a boyfriend on Worldwide TV.

Oh No, He Didn't!!!
Oh No, He Didn’t!!!

How many gay Men in the NFL will come out this year? How many is there? 50? 100?, Who knows, but after the first one, hopefully We will not have to endure a press conference for each One that admits it.

Michael Sam played for The University of Missouri at defensive end but can play the Linebacker position. After the season, Sam was named the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, with C. J. Mosley of the University of Alabama, and a first-team all-SEC selection. It is a bit ironic that the SEC is known (to themselves) as the toughest league in college football and their toughest defensive player is gay. Many homophobic SEC fans drank harder than usual Saturday, May 10, 2014.
